Grandmaster Sereff presents his Loyalty Award

The loyalty award tradition was originated by General Choi. He requested these for the Malaysian World Championships from the artist Theresa Ferg Brownback. She made a represntational statue of him in the Heaven Hand position. General Choi awards these original sculptures to the Tae Kwon Do members who have shown superior loyalty to their martial art. Superior loyalty in the sense that these individualshave forgone personal fame and forture to promote Tae Kwon Do.

Grandmaster C.E. Sereff has received the very first loyalty award from General Choi. It is an honor so important to him that Grandmaster Sereff has now continued this tradition with a loyalty award for the USTF.

A number of these awards have been presented. He was so impressed with the gift to him that he wishes to make it available to any of his instructors and students who desire to aquire the artwork. Now this replica of the award is for sale to all Tae Kwon Do members. Due to a strong personal interest in Tae Kwon Do the Brownback Art Studio will donate 15% of all artwork sold for the ITF and USTF back to the respective gyms so that as a group each school can use this money to pay for memberships, books and uniforms for those who need financial assistance. All receipts should be saved and presented to Brownback Art Studio for funding. The artist Brownback has been proud to work with General Choi and Grandmaster Sereff and all the other Tae Kwon Do members.
