FYI, we also have a Fakespace BOOM 3C+ - though it isn't currently
connected to vermeer. At one point I worked with Dave Pape (EVL) to add
it to CAVELib - so that may be another avenue.

Hi Bob and Randy,


I talked with Steve Maher (in charge of visualization at GSFC) and
Kevin Mahoney (systems administrator for vermeer.gsfc.nasa.gov)
early this week.


They do not have an ImmersaDesk or the Cave libraries.  They have
access to an older version of the Cave libraries on another machine.
They do have an Immersive Workbench.


The configuration of vermeer is
  Onyx 2 Infinite Reality
  2 GB RAM
  64 MB Texture memory
  2 RM
  DG8
  Logical volume xfs disk systems:  18 GB, 27 GB, 35 GB


They do not have plans to buy the Cave libraries.


The University of Colorado has an 
  Onyx Infinite Reality
  6 GB RAM
  16 MB Texture memory
  1 RM
  Logical volumne xfs:  150 GB, 4x32GB
