The e-mails I've exchanged with Linda Winkler indicate that we are within
days of final soultion on the PIM upgrade. There are some leakage issues
to be solved that Linda didn't expect to take very long.

PIM is up. Just need to figure out why I am leaking routes to ESnet.

Based on this information I would like to schedule it now for early or mid
next week. If it should happen that the leaking is still not corrected by
then, the test could take place at a reduced transmit speed.
I view the start of real research for this project an *MAJOR* milestone and
would like to see that happen as soon as the network can take it.
Please let me know your thoughts on this.
