Shelly,
Have these brochures already been printed? There are some inaccuracies
in them. For example, the very first sentence begins with "NASA's Earth and
Space Sciences (ESS) project...". This should be NASA's HPCC Earth and Space
Sciences Project. It is important to identify ESS in the context of the HPCC
Program, or it looks like the project encompasses half of NASA! (Two of the
four Enterprises).
Curiously, the last sentence in the second paragraph says, "Math models
are processed on the High Performance Computing and Communications Program
Cray T3E computer at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center". Here, you include
HPCC BUT LEAVE OUT ESS. The T3E is the HPCC ESS Testbed, and we are very
proud of that fact. The T3E should also be referred to as a supercomputer
(as is alluded to at the end of the brochure), not just as a computer.
Myself of Jarrett Cohen (the ESS Tech Writer) will be happy to work with
you to correct these errors.
