status update 6/4/98:
Peering has been established at Chicago with UMN, ANL and U. Colorado (via
vBNS). NREN GSFC is peering with the GSFC ISOLAN (for eventual access to
zot).
140.221.0.0 network from ANL is not being advertised yet at the NAP.
I have sent an inquiry to Linda Winkler regarding the status of this system.
we are also waiting for an account on yukon for nren to do end-to-end
connectivity testing. the application for an account will take up to three
weeks to process.
198.11.22.0 from U. Colorado is available under 198.11.16.0/20 supernet
at Chicago. I have requested that 198.11.22.0/24 be explicitly announced
at Chicago.
Peering with UMN is complete. Routes are being seen for the 160.94.70.128/25
network.
Bill Fink has been contacted. He will set up peering between NREN GSFC and
his HPCC router in the next day or so. I have provided him with an example
BGP config for his router.
