Tom Barron pointed out where I lost the big picture. I have
adjusted my BGP peer with you and have reset a short time ago.
We are now bypassing the vBNS and headed to GSFC via the most direct
route.
My apologies for the confusion I misunderstood the
evaluation sequence between path length, weight and local preference.
