I received this when I got back to my office. The science team would like
2 one hour sessions with the machine each day. I also received word that
from ANL that their resources are just streched too thin to make a joint
demo work. They will NOT be participating in our demo. They will however
continue to offer us support to get ours up and running. If it continues
at the level it did yesterday it should be outstanding. My back up plan
for that contingency is having a participant at AMES during the demos so
that they will appear in the vic windows at the show.
As you can see they also have a high res movie that can be played during
the down time.
Although they are notably relucent to include wide area networking in the
demo NASA/NREN (my bosses and myself) are **very** insistant on it. NREN
is a networking organization, not a science organization. It is vital to
us to show networking use at these shows.
