If you demonstrate QOS via MREN (I assume you are working with
Linda Winkler), then shouldn't we be able to try this on the
showroom floor, because MREN exchanges routes directly with
NREN at Ameritech? Could we try this sometime after the show
closes, because this might still be a reasonable hour in
Minnesota and Chicago?
I understood that at most there would be one router hop between
NREN and the NASA booth. Initially there was discussion of
NREN hooking up the booth directly, but it sounds like that
may not be the case.
Would Linda be up for this? One thing we had talked about was
creating a video of the ManyWorlds joint session, and having
that available for playback from one of the video servers
at ANL via MPEG1. I don't think this would involve vBNS at
this point.
